Navratri festival is a big festival of every Hindu. this day is very important in our life.

Shardiya Navratri: Shardiya Navratri starts in (Hindu month Ashwin) sept-oct months. people start Scavenging before one day to make the home neat and clean home and decorate the home and temple with flowers. Peoples purchase some goods like Pictures of Durga, Prasad, dhoop, Flower, Deshi Ghee. In this year 2021, this festival starts on 7th October. 

Nine Roops of Maa Durga:

Navratri Festival Durga Puja

The first day of Navratri worship is Shail Putri Pooja. The second day of Navratri worship is bharmcharini pooja. The third and fourth day of Navratri is Chandar ghanta pooja. The fifth day of Navratri is Skand Mata pooja. The sixth day of Navratri is Katyayani pooja. The Seventh-day of Navratri is Kalartri Pooja. The eighth day of Navratri is Maha Gauri Pooja. And this day is Durga Ashtami. The ninth day of Navratri is Siddhidhatri pooja. 

These nine days are very holistic so these days are worship as the Nine roops of Maa Durga (Navratri). Tenth day in Durga Visarjan. All family members worship the Durga pooja in the morning and evening and also pray for the best things People pray in a daily routine till the end of Navratri. Tenth Days is also Popular as Vijay Dashmi  

Role of Temple in Navratri days: 

Every tempLe has a play the great role and some Famous Temples are Maa Vaishno Devi Temple, Trilokpur Temple, Sakumbra Devi, Mansa Devi, Beri Wali Mata, Mssani Devi, Devi Mandir.

Maa Vaishno Devi Temple; This Temple is located in Katra District Jammu. Every Year Come the large Number of Shardalu but Navratri Days rush is Heavy.

Great excitement can be seen in West Bengal for this festival. Bengalis used to call this festival the Durga Puja festival. Children and youth start collecting money and donation a few days before Navratri and set up the pandals and Durga pooja is held till the last day of Navratri.

History of Navratri :

Navratri history started from the war of goddess Durga and demon Mahishasur, Lord Ganesha started the celebration of this festival as per Mahadev’s instruction. Mahadev informed Ganesha to start worship of Goddess till nine-day. and gave details of all the nine avatars of goddess Durga. And said in the future these nine days will be known as Navratri. Since then this festival started. Here word Navratri comes from Sanskrit which means Nav as nine, Ratri as night.

In maximum parts of the country, people stopped drinking alcohol and avoid playing gambling. Many People fast all the nine-day and make this festival with all the inner purity of soul. So Goddess Durga keep spreads his blessing
